Beowulf in Comics

Beowulf! Every year, I have the chance of reviewing this epic. Each year, I learn something new. I wish that whatever beauty and value that I see in this piece of literature would also be seen by those whom I teach this to.

It came as a surprise that few students recall stories that have been taught to them in their previous years.  "Can you give examples of epic from the Philippines?" Dead air followed.   Very few could generate a response to my question.

I finally had the chance to scan my copy of Beowulf in comics. It would be good to make a comparative study of this and the real version of the epic.
